Revision of the exercises:

Operating preparations:

  • Right clothing
  • Warm up
  • Setup of the vest
  • Arm preparation and adjustment
  • Put on the vest
  • Connecting the arm with the vest
  • Pulling up the rig from the stand

Framing techniques:

  • Pan exercises using a stand
  • Framing exercises / headroom
  • Handling and operating techniques (left hand / right hand)

Movement techniques:

  • Start and
  • Walking on a line
  • Parallel walking to a rope
  • Forward and backward walking
  • Walking in a circle

Day Three: Advanced techniques

Revision of the exercises:

  • Camera preparations
  • Setup and adjusting of the rig
  • Balancing and final adjustments of the rig using a different camera
  • Operating preparations

Movement techniques:

  • Step techniques, walking on and off a box
  • Walking on stairs
  • Combinations of the several move techniques
  • Whip pans
  • Missionary = walk forward / shoot forward
  • Don Juan = walk forward / shoot backward
  • Switch from Missionary to Don Juan

Extras:

  • Working with actors
  • Working with wireless focus remote (mounting and set up)
  • Low Mode
