Third Edition of Educational-Informational Event Will Focus on Features

October 6, 2009 (Burbank, CA)    The next 4K Forum will take place on November 4th and 5th during HD EXPO - Createasphere in Burbank, California.  The 4K Forum, a technology showcase and gathering, attracts companies across the spectrum of content creation, as well as serving as a symposium in which the latest information and advancements in 4K can be explored.  This year’s Forum will focus specifically on the needs of the feature film industry from production through exhibition.  The Forum presents in-depth information and support for professionals who are considering the use of 4K video for production or digital cinema exhibition.

4K is viewed as an ever-growing part of the workflow.  The 4K Forum aims to provide quality and timely information for the industry as increasingly complex decisions are made.

Presentations will take place throughout the two days, with 4K screenings, demonstrations and case studies presented.  A complete schedule of presentations will be announced shortly.  

The 4K Forum takes place during HD EXPO – Createasphere, where attendees can participate in two full days of education, community and inspiration including Createasphere’s 3rd annual 3D Day on November 5th, a full day of panels and presentations on November 4th, including “Hard Core, Revolutionary and Indispensable - Must Have and Must See Gear,” a panel featuring camera operators, gaffers, and equipment experts who will explore the latest tools in a conversation with the experts who really use them.
