HD EXPO Hosts Its Third HD EXPO Event for the High Definition Community in 2003

Burbank, CA – On the heels of two recent successful High Definition workshops, HD EXPO Founder, Kristin Petrovich, announces HD EXPO "Hooray for Hollywood”, to be held at Production Group Studios on Thursday, November 6th from 5:00 to 9:30 PM.

More than 1000 attendees have already registered for this unique event that combines a High Definition educational agenda, sponsor booths with hands-on equipment and the opportunity to network within the industry. HD EXPO will take place at The Production Group Studios, located in the heart of Hollywood. The Production Group Studios is a full service, turn-key video production facility, providing everything from facilities, equipment and crews to production office space, field production packages, coordination services and much more.
Two education panels will take place at the upcoming HD EXPO. The Art of Cinematography in the Digital Age will be moderated by journalist and cinematography writer Bob Fisher. This panel will bring together a distinguished group of DP’s working in feature films, TV shows and commercials who discuss their experiences in using film and digital acquisition tools. Invited cinematographers include Jim Chressanthes, Theo van de Sande, ASC, Roy Wagner, ASC, Gil Hubbs, ASC and several more. Leon Silverman, president of the Hollywood Post Alliance will moderate a panel of post’s most prominent leaders who will predict the future of their business as we race headlong into the digital age in The Impact of Shifting Technology on the Business of Post. Panelists will include representatives of Technicolor Creative Services, Post Logic and other facilities.

HD EXPO has been creating a buzz among the High Definition community by producing exciting, fun-themed evenings in original locations. With past themes such as "HD - Take Me Out To The Ball Game” and “HD EXPO Fantasy Island”, HD EXPO continues with “Hooray for Hollywood.”
