Los Angeles, CA, March 25, 2002 ° Building on the success of producing their inaugural High Definition Expo & Mixer last year at Barwick Studios in Los Angeles, Kristin Petrovich and Alan Young announced today the successful completion of their second HIGH DEF EXPO, held at the Los Angeles Center Studios on March 7th, 2002. In attendance were over 400 industry professionals, including the Project Greenlight users group, with over 27 HD related vendors. Featured speakers included Marker Karahadian from Plus 8 Video, Ryan Sheridan from Birns & Sawyer, and Bill Weisman from Moviola Digital.

Quoted Petrovich and Young, "Our vision was and continues to be to the first to create a content-driven HD expo event where both film and video professionals could learn more about high definition related products, services and issues in an enlightening atmosphere, and at the same time, offer a place to network with each other. Where many trade shows may be weak in addressing "community," we encouraged it."

With their success formula in mind, Petrovich and Young have planned more High Definition Expo & Mixer events and HD mini-workshops this year, to be held on a quarterly basis at different locations throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Their next HIGH DEF EXPO event is scheduled for Thursday, June 27th, 2002, at Barwick Studios in Burbank/Glendale.

Kristin Petrovich of KMP Associates represents and manages technical talent for a wide range of video and film production clients, in addition to serving as a marketing consultant for production and post-production facilities. Alan Young offers entrepreneurial marketing and sales consulting solutions to entertainment industry companies.
