artemis HD camera stabilizer Workshops Make U.S. Debut

Expert and Inventor Curt O. Schaller Leads Workshop

September 2, 2010 (Burbank, CA)    Createasphere, the leading training and conference resource for content creators, has announced the debut of the artemis camera stabilizer systems Workshop.  The artemis systems are highly regarded contenders in the stabilizer marketplace, members of the respected Sachtler family of products used widely in video, film and ENG production.  The workshops will be led by Curt O. Schaller, inventor of the artemis camera stabilizer systems.  U.S. training launches in New York on September 25, 2010 and takes place again in Burbank, CA October 30th (http://createasphere.com/En/artemis-locations.html).

The artemis camera stabilizer Workshop presents an extensive, in-depth approach to the equipment and its successful use on a variety of productions.  Structured as a 3 day, immersive learning session, the focus of the workshop is hands-on, real world training by Schaller.  The curriculum includes an introduction to the equipment; where, why, and how to use a camera balance system; basics and creative possibilities; function and set up (rig, arm, vest, monitor, batteries,); camera, lenses, wireless accessories basics; system set up for film and digital cameras; rig balance and final adjustments; operating and moving techniques; and remote systems (lens control, video transmission).  During the workshop, there will be an evening discussion focused on the health and well being of operators along with screenings of examples.
