September 15, 2010 (Burbank, CA)   The DAMMY Awards, the first honors specifically recognizing excellence in innovative digital and media asset management technology, methodologies and services, have announced that Jason Bright of Media Beacon has won the DAMMY of the Year Award.  The DAMMY’s, making their debut during Createasphere’s Digital Asset Management Conference and Exhibition in New York, will be awarded during a gala luncheon on September 24^th, 2010 at The New Yorker Hotel.

The DAMMY of the Year was created to acknowledge an outstanding individual or organization that has positively impacted the success and growth of the DAM industry and community.  Qualities including forward thinking leadership, innovation, and a global perspective on the industry drove the entrants and the judging.  The DAMMY of the Year was chosen by a panel of blue-ribbon judges of digital and media asset management experts who are professionals in the space.
