Grads Wally Pfister, ASC, Uta Briesewitz, Petra Korner, Darren Genet and Tommy Maddox-Upshaw Reflect on a Powerful Education and Their Careers

(Burbank, CA)    Createasphere Entertainment Technology Exposition, the entertainment and media industry's showcase for the latest trends and groundbreaking technology, will take place November 3rd & 4th, 2010 at the Burbank Marriott Convention Center.  

On November 4th, Createasphere Entertainment Technology Exposition is honored to host a roster of distinguished cinematographers for a discussion, "The Cinematography Program at AFI:  Focus on Excellence."  Stephen Lighthill, ASC, Artist in Residence, AFI Cinematography, will moderate a conversation with the respected graduates of the Cinematography program including Oscar nominee Wally Pfister, ASC ("Inception," "Batman Returns," "The Prestige"); Uta Briesewitz ("Hung," "The Wire"); Darren Genet ("CSI Miami," "A Good Funeral," "Lucky"); Petra Korner ("My Soul To Take," "The Wackness"); and Tommy Maddox-Upshaw ("The Inheritance," "Christmas in Beverly Hills," "When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts").  The panel is sponsored by American Cinematographer Magazine and the Conservatory of the AFI.
