Judges who are recognized professionals in digital asset management select finalists and winners of the DAMMY Awards. This years’ judges included Lisa McIntyre, GSD&M; David Riecks, Controlled Vocabulary; and Donna Slawsky, Columbia University School of Continuing Education. Several of the nominations can be viewed at www.createasphere.com/dammys.
The DAMMY Awards were launched in 2010 with a three-part goal: to raise awareness of the rapidly evolving, increasingly crucial role of digital asset management (DAM); to promote creative and technical excellence in the field; and to recognize the achievement in the DAM space.
The DAMMY Awards returned to The New Yorker Hotel for a gala luncheon, sponsored by Harris, during Createasphere’s Digital Asset Management Conference on Friday, September 23, 2011.
