Nathan Adams, Recording Engineer

Nathan Adams has been on the leading edge of production technology since 1995.  As a recording engineer, Nathan helped many Los Angeles recording studios migrate from analog tape machines to computer based, digital recording.  For the last ten years, Nathan has continued to help the motion picture industry switch from film to digital, SD to HD, and tape to tapeless.

Nathan’s film and TV credits are a testament to his depth of knowledge, ranging from Editor to Post Supervisor to Producer.  His clients include small production companies, animation houses and large studios.  Since 2008, when Nathan started Cinematomic, Nathan has helped television and features embrace new technology for pre-production, pre-viz, asset management, backup and archival workflows.  Most recently, Nathan helped design, implement and support the backup, editorial and archive workflow for David Fincher on his new release, The Social Network.  Nathan also works with many music artists including Jimmy Buffet, Dweezil Zappa and Smashing Pumpkins, to provide mobile capture, playback and archive systems used for live performances.
