We hear a lot about what TV shows or movies are using the Canon 5D Mark II or about the latest Lumix firmware hacks but what we don't hear enough about is the audio part of the equation.

The on-board sound capabilities of most HDSLR cameras shooting motion is limited. But, as with all cameras, dual system sound is always an option. But what are the pitfalls or advantages of recording audio for HDSLR?
