Gradient Debuts GLoW -- a Createasphere Exclusive Premiere
Since 2006 Gradient FX, has delivered dynamic visual artistry for feature films, television programs, games and a wide spectrum of entertainment. Recognized for creating breakthrough visual effects quickly and economically, founders Thomas Tannenberger and Olcun Tan lead a team of talented artists and developers. Gradient boasts an in-house, state of the art DI suite with tools usually associated with much larger facilities. Recent Gradient credits include (Gnarls Barkley's Grammy nominated "Whose Gonna Save My Soul," Richard Kelly's "The Box", and the upcoming "The Ugly Truth" among many others.) Gradient has developed GLoW, a powerful, affordable process and plugin to harnesses the incredible power of LIDAR Scaning for planning, tracking and digital set reconstruction. GLoW can scan 360 degrees, up to 300 meters, empowering production and post production with a dynamic tool. Previously used on high-end, big budget features, and by architects and engineers, Lidar was out of reach for many productions. Gradient has developed an affordable and deploy-able plug in and process that allows data to be loaded, in color, on set, in 3D.
