Schedule of Presentations
12:00 PM-1:00 PM - Adobe
Adobe and RED have collaborated to bring a truly native, color-rich, 4K tapeless workflow to Adobe Creative Suite® 4 software, allowing filmmakers to harness the full potential of high-resolution raw digital cinematography on the desktop. Join Adobe’s Mike Kanfer to discover how the Adobe-RED plug-in revolutionizes the way RED R3D files are natively imported into Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects CS4 without transcoding or rewrapping. Work at any resolution—4K, 2K, HD, or SD, etc.—to create projects that can be exported to files, Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and virtual Flash DVD.
1:00 PM-2:00 PM - Digital Vision
Digital Vision will be showing their new Film Master 2009 software for native Red file (R3D) color correction, image enhancement, noise reduction and transcoding. We will be making ASC CDL (Color Decision List) compliant color corrections and making Avid DNxHD media for editorial - demonstrating a complete Red/Film Master/Avid ‘round-trip’ workflow. We will also be showcasing several Red projects from local LA Film Master customers.
2:00 PM-3:00 PM - AJA and Red:
Ki Pro and KONA for Onset and Post Production
AJA offers the Red User a number of options both in Production and during Post. Join AJA Product Marketing Manager Bryce Button as we explore some of the workflows that AJA makes possible to the benefit of Red Users. We’ll look at how AJA’s new Ki Pro can help out for onset creative decision making, allowing recordings off of the Red One’s video tape to be upscaled to 1920 and captured straight to ProRes (HQ). The KiPro storage module can be connected to your MacBook Pro via firewire 800 for immediate editing and verification of results. In Post, the KONA 3 desktop I/O card is the leading card for 2K work and offers the Red user the ability to take their Red files and lay out 2K DPX masters for transfer to film, or of course the choice of laying out HD masters in pristine 10 Bit to SR Decks.
3:00 PM-4:00 PM - Autodesk
Join Autodesk as we give you an overview of our RED post production workflow solutions. Learn about the Autodesk family of products and how clients such as Dreams Factory and Ntropic use Autodesksolutions for managing R3D media through grading, conform, and VFX finishing.
4:00 PM-5:00 PM - Assimilate
Lucas Wilson from ASSIMILATE will be presenting the latest in RED workflow technology from SCRATCH, including discussions of various workflows and the new Red Rocket card! Come see why facilities all over the world have chosen SCRATCH as their tool of choice for RED workflow.
5:00 PM-6:00 PM - IGI/Creative Bridge Tour
