HD EXPO Attendee Confirmation

This is to CONFIRM you registered for the PANASONIC INTENSIVE WORKSHOP at HD EXPO in the Intensive Theater at the Navy Pier on June 11th from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

SEATING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED! Seating will be first come, first serve. THIS E-MAIL DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A SEAT! To increase your chances of getting a seat, be sure to arrive at least one half hour early and be prepared to wait in the pre-registered line on site. HD EXPO reserves the right to refuse seating to anyone.

REGISTRATION CHECK-IN: Registration opens at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 11th. For the quickest check-in, please be sure to print out the unique barcode provided to you at the completion of your on-line registration and bring it with you to the "Badge Pickup" area at registration. You can also print another copy of your barcode by clicking the link in the confirmation email sent to you when you registered. If you do not have your barcode available, please go to the line at registration marked "Onsite Registration" and our friendly staff will look up your record.

Once you receive your badge, you will be directed to an area outside the Intensive Theater until we begin seating for the presentation.

Be aware: While you are registered for this presentation, we will begin seating for the wait list fifteen minutes before the start of the session, so please arrive one half hour or more before the beginning of the session to have the best chance at guaranteeing a spot.

Panasonic Intensive Workshop: New P2 VariCam 3700
This Intensive is a comprehensive overview of the new P2 VariCam 3700 targeted for DPs, DITs and other production professionals. The VariCam 3700 raises the bar for cinematic image quality, offering a native 2/3” 2.2 mega-pixel 3-CCD 1920x1080 imager, including 10-bit, 4:2:2 full-raster recording (AVC-Intra 100), as well as Dual link RGB 4:4:4 output with log response capability. This camera offers a fast P2 workflow, industry-standard DVCPRO-HD, as well as innovative features, with Chromatic Aberration Compensation (CAC), Dynamic Range Stretching (DRS), Film-Rec and variable frame rate recording. This intensive will also include demo footage.

Please pick up your EXPO pass at the registration area once you arrive. With your registration/EXPO pass, you receive admittance to the exhibitor booth area and all panels and speakers. You must have your badge to attend this INTENSIVE.

The Lakeview Terrace is on the second floor off of Entrance #2, Lobby 3 towards the east end of Navy Pier. If traveling by taxi, ask to be dropped off in Entrance #2 at the end of the pier. If driving, park in the east garage and follow the signs to the Lakeview Terrace.

PARKING: Parking at Navy Pier is on a first come, first serve basis. Parking rates for Navy Pier are $16 per day. Navy Pier has extended the discounted parking rate of $16 to all HD EXPO participants. Discounted Parking Vouchers will be distributed at registration.

The reception will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, offering hosted drinks and snacks. Hosted drink will be distributed to attendees at badge pickup and registration on a first come, first serve basis. HD EXPO is an adult event. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted attendance.
