Keys to Findability in your Rich Media Archive

One of the key elements important to the cause of preserving content and equally important to anyone dealing with Rich Media in their Archives is “findability”. Today we can archive everything for posterity, but if we can’t find anything or more specifically, peer into the digital fingerprint of a rich media asset and find exactly what we are looking for – all the archiving in the world is worthless..

Good things happen when we can easily find our content – this then opens up our world to finding new uses, repurposing and monetizing our existing assets that were previously languishing away in retirement. Good assets never retire – they just find new purpose in life.
